☀️This past summer, the Tigris Foundation supported the Black Farmers Coop initiative at Southwest Leadership Academy in Philadelphia: the Urban Bloom Gardening Ambassadors Program. 🧑‍🌾

LAND & LABOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: The Tigris Foundation is dedicated to fostering community. We acknowledge that our offices sit on the unceded land of the Lenape people and recognize that this land was worked on by enslaved Africans. To the Lenape people, past, present, and future generations, as well as to the experience of enslaved Africans and their descendants, may this living land acknowledgement serve as a starting point for change.
