Menstrual Equity in Norristown
💗Thanks to the generosity of a local donor and the Women’s Center of Montgomery County, the Tigris Foundation was able to deliver 1040 pads, 2000 panty liners, 2520 disposable wipes, and 2370 tampons to the students at Norristown Area School District! These supplies will go directly to menstruators who need them, building a healthier and more equitable community! 💪

BookSmiles Warehouse Visit
📚The Tigris Foundation was grateful to visit BookSmiles’ warehouse where volunteers were busy sorting thousands of books for distribution to kids who need them! In honor of the United States’ 250th birthday, Cosmic Writers is teaming up with Vote.org to run “Writing Democracy: A Dystopian & Utopian Fiction Competition for 3rd-12th Graders!” To encourage young storytellers to use their voices to make civic impact, students are invited to submit their own utopian and dystopian fiction, sharing their unique stories about their vision for the future of our country.
