The sixth annual Upper Dublin Pride Celebration was an incredible display of love, unity, and community! From queer performers and vendors, to resource tables, and undeniable joy, the Tigris Foundation was pleased to support the UD 2SLGBTQQIA+ Equity Committee and their continued commitment to fostering pride and creating safe spaces in Upper Dublin! šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆ

We were grateful to be joined by Cosmic Writers Founder and Executive Director, Rowana Miller, who read an excerpt from her new young adult book, ā€œSecrets of the Blue Hand Girlsā€! We are appreciative for our continued collaboration with Cosmic Writers and can’t wait to inspire a new generation of storytellers through the Rural Library Partner Toolkit. šŸ“

LAND & LABOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: The Tigris Foundation is dedicated to fostering community. We acknowledge that our offices sit on the unceded land of the Lenape people and recognize that this land was worked on by enslaved Africans. To the Lenape people, past, present, and future generations, as well as to the experience of enslaved Africans and their descendants, may this living land acknowledgement serve as a starting point for change.
