⚙️With support from the Tigris Foundation, Discovery Space’s GLOW afterschool program brings hands-on STEM career exploration to middle school girls and nonbinary students in rural Central PA.

So far in 2026, GLOW has served 15 students across two sessions, providing students technical training in design, woodworking, and electronics, as well as opportunities to engage with local female professions! 🔧

In the words of a GLOW parent,

“This program is an amazing example of what a dedicated group of young leaders can accomplish when they are given the tools they need to succeed. I wish I could give everyone this opportunity.”

🧡Visit www.discoveryspace.org to support their mission in making STEM learning fun and accessible for all!

LAND & LABOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: The Tigris Foundation is dedicated to fostering community. We acknowledge that our offices sit on the unceded land of the Lenape people and recognize that this land was worked on by enslaved Africans. To the Lenape people, past, present, and future generations, as well as to the experience of enslaved Africans and their descendants, may this living land acknowledgement serve as a starting point for change.
